A circulation pump must exist in the group to be protected.

Adjusting Groups to Allow Freeze Protection
In the following example, a "FOUNTAIN" group is edited to enable freeze protection.

Adjusting Freeze Protection Options
In the following example, the time is adjusted to cycle water between circuits from 5 minutes to 10 minutes.
