Current pump for fresh and saltwater aquaria
In purchasing this pump, you have selected a top quality product. It has been specifically developed for aquarium
use and extensively tested by experts.
1. Scope of delivery
•
EcoDrift - powerful current pump incl. Wi-Fi Controller to control the flow power and wave frequency (for
saltwater aquaria).
•
Magnet Holder - for secure mounting inside the aquarium.
•
EcoDrift Control - Wi-Fi-compatible controller (control possible by the optional wireless EcoDrift Master
Controller, Art.-No. 103.600) with nine different programs for generating alternating currents and 0 - 10 Volt
connection for external control.
•
Electronic Safety Transformer - Input: AC 110 – 240 V / 50/60 Hz, Output: 24 V DC
Optional available: wireless control for EcoDrift current pumps of the x.2 series (not compatible with
Wireless Master Controller of the x. 1 series:
- Two separately or parallel controllable channels for connecting any number of current pumps of the series
EcoDrift x.2.
- The timer feature allows mutual alternating control of the channels in the interval of 1 - 60 minutes.
- Each channel can be individually adjusted for wave simulation, pulse rate and flow intensity.
- Feed function for deactivating the flow for 10 minutes.
2. Safety instructions
- When working in the aquarium, always disconnect all units from the power supply system before putting your
hands into the water. Connect all units to the mains via a residual current device with a maximum residual
current of 30 mA.
- Never pull pumps out of the water by the cable.
- Suitable for indoor use only.
- Protect the power supply and controller from moisture, splash and condensate.
- Regularly clean pumps from dirt and lime deposits.
- Not suitable as a toy for children.
3. Features and Functionality
The EcoDrift is a magnetically coupled current pump and very quiet in operation. It has a fully encapsulated
synchronous motor. All materials are salt-water resistant. The pump is operated at 24 V DC safety voltage, with
the power supply included. It is controlled via EcoDrift Control, which allows for running a variety of different
programs.
The custom developed magnet holder features a vibration dampening design for extremely quiet operation. The
pump is designed for under water operation, only.
