LED aquarium lighting for salt- and fresh water aquaria
Programmable light control for sunrise/fall, moonlight and cloud flying.
The
aquasunLED
is modularly constructed. Each LED module consists of 50 high-power LEDs 1
watt each (
15 x 1 watt blue and 35 x 1 watt 12,000 K) with a total power of app. 50 watt resp. of
high-power LEDs of 3 watt in the case of the 200 and 300 watt version
. The light is equipped with a
programmable computer control.
The light channels for white LEDs, blue LEDs, moonlight and
cloud flying are separately controllable and make a natural lighting possible. Even a cycle for
moonlight phases is taken into account.
The housing is made of powder-coated and saltwater resistant aluminium.

2. Unpacking
On unpacking, please check the lighting system immediately for any damages. In case of any
complaints, please contact your dealer directly.

3. Safety advices
•
The lighting system cannot be used as aquarium cover. It has to be mounted only above the
aquarium. The minimum distance between lighting and aquarium must be at least 30 cm.
•
The housing may become hot during operation.
Be cautious when touching it!
•
For cleaning, disconnect the lighting system from the mains and let it cool down. Afterwards,
take the lighting down.
•
When cleaning, take care that no humidity enters the interior of the lighting system!
•
Pay attention to a sufficient thermal exchange. Do not mount the system in enclosures or
behind panels. Missing aeration may result in overheating and damage the electric components.
•
Do not try to repair the lighting system (LEDs, electronic parts). Please send it in for checking,
preferably with a list of defects. Even broken LEDs can only be changed by the manufacturer.
•
When working on the light, always pull all power plugs.
