Thank you for purchasing a Solar Creations Water Feature. This Water feature is battery
powered and battery pack can be recharged by sunlight via solar panel or the supplied
mains indoor charger
Please see below helpful tips to ensure your solar panel and water feature are correctly installed.
•
The Solar Pump (and LED lighting
–
selected models) is powered by rechargeable batteries.
•
We recommend that you FULLY charge batteries before using for the first time by using the
indoor charger provided.
•
Open pack of rechargeable batteries
–
unscrew battery compartment at the back of the
solar panel to install batteries, please take care that batteries are placed in compartment
correctly before replacing battery compartment cover.
•
Plug in your indoor charger and connect lead cable to solar panel. The charging light will
flash YELLOW whilst charging.
•
Please note that charge time is around 8 hours to fully charge the batteries.
•
Once indoor charging complete, disconnect indoor charger and take solar panel outdoors to
your water feature location and connect your water feature pump lead cable to the
appropriate connector port fitting at the back of the solar panel.
•
To connect pump to water feature
–
take the clear pipe already fitted inside water feature
to top bowl and connect this to your pump.
•
If lighting provided with your feature
–
place your light in bottom bowl and connect lighting
lead cable to the appropriate connector port fitting at the back of the solar panel.
•
Please make sure all connections are firmly pushed into connector ports at the back of panel
•
Position your solar panel in optimum area in your garden to benefit from sunlight for
charging (place in ground using ground peg provided and angle panel backwards)
•
Fill bottom reservoir with water until pump is submerged
•
TO OPERATE YOUR WATER FEATURE: Please note: You will need to press the ON/OFF
BUTTON at the back of the solar panel to power the water feature pump and lights. While
the feature is working the running light on the solar panel will light up RED
•
On a FULL battery charge your feature will run for around 3 to 4 hours.
•
TIMER BUTTON: press timer button to operate pump for 1 hour
•
After your water feature stops working the batteries will need to be recharged either via
your solar panel outdoors OR by disconnecting your solar panel and using your indoor
charger plug
•
To charge via solar panel outdoors - Press the On/Off button once to turn the Solar panel
OFF - your solar panel batteries will now recharge from sunlight.
•
IMPORTANT NOTE: When charging outdoors using solar panel: If you do not SWITCH OFF the
solar panel to enable batteries to fully charge the sunlight will charge your batteries but your
water feature will only work intermittently
