Setting the Loop-Through
To enjoy the benefits of a home entertainment system, loop-through should be enabled on your
set-top box (available on models 1000, 1200, 2000 and 5100 series). Loop-through manages
the set-top box’s baseband audio pass-through capability.
• When enabled and the set-top box is turned on, audio signals are processed by the cable
system and sent along to the receiver.
• When enabled and the set-top box is turned off, audio signals can be received from an
external auxiliary source (such as a CD-player) and passed through the set-top box to the
receiver.
Note: You need to be sure that the proper baseband cabling is in place.
To specify the loop-through
1 Press the MENU button until the Settings menu
displays.
2 Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the Audio preference.
3 Press the right arrow button to move to the
Option column. This displays the options for
the Audio preference.
