8. Operation logic selection
The operation logic of the automation is set by means of jumpers JP1
and JP2. The position of jumpers JP3 and JP4 is negligible.
Manual
-
JP1 and JP2 open:
The automation opens (or closes) until the relevant
local control is operated; if the control is released or
two commands are given simultaneously, the motion stops.
Semiautomatic Open/Close
- JP1 closed, JP2 open.
A
Local Open
command moves the automation open
for the duration of the operating time. When the
opening manoeuvre is completed, the automation stops waiting for a
Local Close
command that will move the automation close for the
duration of the operating time. During motion, an open or close
command will stop the automation (partial opening and/or closing).
Semiautomatic step-by-step
- JP1 open, JP2
closed.
In this logic, only the
Local Open
command is
activated through which both opening and closing motions are
controlled. When the opening manoeuvre is completed (operating time
elapsed), the automation stops and waits for a new command. During
motion, a new command will stop the automation (partial opening
and/or closing).
Automatic
- JP1 and JP2 closed.
In this logic, only the
Local Open
command is
activated through which the opening motion is
controlled. When the opening manoeuvre is completed (say at the end
of the working time), the automation stops, pauses for the pre-set time
and then closes. During the closing cycle, a new command will
reverse the motion of the automation.
The intervention of a safety device during the closing phase reverses
the motion of the automation regardless of the operation logic
selected, but for the “Manual” logic, in which it stops the automation
opening or closing.
After any modifications of the configuration of jumpers JP1 and JP2,
turn the module off and on again to re-program the microprocessor.
