Installing

•

An arrow is stamped on the brake calliper and on the clip, which must always point in the

direction of rotation of the front wheel.

•

Fit the clip in the brake calliper.

•

Fit the two new pads in the correct po-

sition.

ALWAYS REPLACE THE FOUR PADS AND MAKE SURE
THEY ARE CORRECTLY POSITIONED INSIDE THE CAL-
LIPER.

•

Fit the front brake calliper on the disc.

•

Hand-tighten the two screws (1) fully.

•

Pull the front brake lever to seat the

brake calliper correctly.

•

Tighten the two screws (1).

•

Check the front brake fluid level.

Rear brake pads

Removal

To remove the rear brake pads, follow the proce-

dure described below:

•

Remove the two screws (1) fastening

the brake calliper to the mount.

CAUTION

DO NOT OPERATE THE REAR BRAKE PEDAL ONCE THE
CALLIPER HAS BEEN REMOVED, AS THIS MAY FORCE
THE PISTONS OUT FROM THEIR SEATS AND ALLOW
BRAKE FLUID TO ESCAPE.
