RSV4 1100 (SACHS fork - NO ASC)

Each stanchion has the following:

•

An upper adjuster screw (1) for setting

hydraulic rebound damping;

•

An upper nut (2) for adjusting spring

preload;

•

A lower adjuster screw (3) for setting

hydraulic compression damping.

TO AVOID DAMAGE, DO NOT FORCE THE ADJUSTERS
BEYOND THE MAXIMUM SETTING POSITION IN EITHER
DIRECTION. SET THE SAME SPRING PRE-LOAD AND HY-
DRAULIC DAMPING SETTING FOR BOTH STANCHIONS:
RIDING THE VEHICLE WITH DIFFERENT SETTINGS FOR
THE TWO STANCHIONS REDUCES STABILITY. WHEN
SPRING PRE-LOAD IS INCREASED, REBOUND DAMPING
MUST ALSO BE INCREASED TO PREVENT EXCESSIVE
SUSPENSION KICKBACK WHEN RIDING.

TO COUNT THE NUMBER OF CLICKS AND/OR REVOLUTIONS OF ADJUSTMENT SETTINGS
ALWAYS START FROM THE MOST RIGID SETTING (WHOLE CLOCKWISE ROTATION OF THE
SETTING).
