Introduction
The Apollo Video Rapid Deployment Kit
is a derivative of the RoadRunner HD™ High Definition Mobile
Recorder System packaged as a portable vehicle recording system within a commercial aircraft carry-on
sized Pelican case. It has been designed to meet the needs of the primary customer, the U.S.
Department of State. It is intended for temporary install in DoS vehicles that do not have recording
equipment, and for rental vehicles. The Rapid Deployment Kit is designed for mobile applications and
operates using 9 to 36 volts DC, which makes it compatible with the typical 12 VDC and 24 VDC power
systems found on vehicles. As the Rapid Deployment Kit is designed for temporary installation in vehicles,
it includes a Cigarette Lighter Adapter (CLA) power cord within the case along with Cameras and other
accessories to create a complete recording system.
