1 Getting familiar with your computer

Note:

When the operating system is not running, the AV panel cannot play a

DVD or VCD movies. When the operating system is running, the AV panel
only supports PowerDVD.

Understanding the AV LCD panel

The AV LCD panel displays all the information pertaining to the audio/video
media that’s being played in the computer.

Stop/Eject/Media select
button

Stops playback, ejects the CD or selects the media
source. Press once to stop the music being played,
press again to enter media select mode. Press it a
third time to display the track number. Up to a
maximum of 9 playlists on the hard disk are
supported, P1 to P9. For audio CD, D1 is the
displayed media source.

Displays current media status.

Play/pause

Plays and pauses the media playback.

AV power button

Turns on or off the power of the AV control panel.
