Hold the lid handle to close the lid, then turn the lid handle clockwise to lock the lid in
place. You should hear a click sound that confirms the lid has been closed properly.

Clean the bottom of inner pot and surface of heating plate before placing the
inner pot.
After placing the inner pot inside the housing, rotate the inner pot slightly to
ensure good contact between the inner pot and the heating element.
