Completely designed, fabricated and assembled in Canada, the $1499 US re t a i l, PVA 7 amplifier re p resents unpre c e d e n t e d
value in this high-power multi-channel amplifier market category. Producing a solid 125 watts per channel output power into 8
ohms, 200W/pc into 4 ohms, the PVA 7 will target the rapidly growing consumer demand for the new 7.1 channel listening for-
m a t s .
T h e PVA 7, 7 channel power amplifier was developed with the same dedication as all ANTHEM™ p roducts - offering exceptional
musicality and dynamics, while being tonally neutral. Whether it be the finesse needed to satisfy a discerning audiophile, the power
needed to satisfy the avid THX® Surround EX™ home theater enthusiast or the reliability re q u i red in a professional multi-media /
studio installation, the PVA 7 amplifier delivers, while remaining faithful to the sonic goals set for the entire ANTHEM™ p ro d u c t
r a n g e .
Based on a common power supply topology, the PVA 7 amplifier delivers identical power and S/N ratio specs to each of its seven
channels at an incredible 122 dB signal to noise ratio (A-weighted ref. 125 W) - an important consideration when listening in today’s
multi-channel music environment. The PVA 7 also features ANTHEM™’s non-invasive, ALM™ Advanced Load Monitoring circ u i t r y
which protects sensitive output devices, by constantly monitoring temperature, current and voltage to ensure optimum long term
p e rformance.
Additional features in this new amplifier include: patented signal-detecting Auto-On circ u i t r y, relay trigger on and manual turn-on
modes; relay trigger input and output connections, detachable power cord, oversized designed aluminum heat sinks; a custom,
high quality low-noise toroidal power transformer; modular design, and the timelessly elegant ANTHEM™ industrial design (featuring
a 3/8” extruded aluminum faceplate - and a scratch resistant powder coat-finished 16 awg steel chassis). The PVA 7’s dimensions
a re: 17 1/4 inches (44 cm) wide x 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm) high x 16 3/8 inches (42 cm) wide and it weighs 47.5 lbs. (21.5 kg).
