• It is important to always use clean water and keep the bottle
clean in order to avoid bacterial growth.
• Use normal tap water. The risk of bacterial growth increases
if e.g. mineral water, well-water or hot water is used.
• Replace the water every day.
• Leakage may occur if the bottle is filled with too much water.
1.
Take the stick out of the plastic bag and straighten it before
use. Insert the absorption stick into the water inlet (Figure 1).
The ultrasound element is located inside the water inlet and
the stick must make full contact with the element. If there is
not proper contact between the stick and the ultrasound
element, no mist will form. Before using it the first time or
when quick humidity formation is desired:
– Let the stick stand in water for a while in advance
– Replace the absorption stick once a month in order to
avoid bacterial growth, and keep the entire device clean.
2.
Fill the bottle about 3/4 full with normal tap water. Choose a
PET bottle of a suitable size and fill it with clean water. Water
will remain at the bottom of 50 cl bottles, because the stick
cannot reach all the way to the bottom. The absorption stick
can be cut to also fit smaller bottles.
3.
Screw the humidifier into place on the bottle (Figure 2). When
the humidifier is properly screwed in place on the bottle, the
bottle may not be held upside-down, shaken or laid on its side.
4.
Connect it to a power-supplied USB port (Figure 3).
5.
Press the power switch to start the humidifier, the power light
turns on. Mist comes from the outlet after a short while. The
