D.1 Pattern File Specifications
The specifications for data files read as PPG or ED are as follows:

Errors occur under following conditions:
One or less commas (,) included in file
Data longer than 10000000 bits
2-byte characters included in file

Ignores data after third comma when 3 or more commas (,) included in
file

Displays warning when reading 1305601 or more bits of data
In this case, pattern only uses data from header to bit 1305600.

Pads missing part with 0s when described data bit count smaller than
data length

Uses data up to data length for pattern when described data bit count
larger than data length

Sets data to all 0s when data description omitted
Hexadecimal description specifications
 Hexadecimal description only as integer values with no decimals

Data length in multiples of 4
 Supports mixture of upper- and lower-case characters A to F (case
insensitive)
 File read error when data includes characters other than A, B, C, D, E,
F, a, b, c, d, e, and f
Binary description specifications

Binary description only as integer values with no decimals
 File read error if data includes characters other than 0 and 1
