The following example shows the effect of the relative efficiency correction.

The following figure shows the row data (live) from a mercury lamp, if shows that the intensity of the 546 nm line
has double the intensity of the 253.7 nm line.

The following figure shows the same data after applying the relative efficiency correction. Here the intensity of
546 nm line is much lower than the 253.7 nm line.
