8 Storage
It is important to store your wrapper properly to prevent
premature wear and tear. The machine should be kept in a
dry and covered location. When storing your wrapper,
follow all the recommendations below:
To unhitch the machine, follow the steps below:
When the machine is being
unhitched, only the operator is
permitted to be near the machine.
Before getting out of the tractor to
remove the hydraulic couplings and
electrical
cables, ensure that the
machine is resting firmly on the
ground and is stable. Engage the
handbrake, turn off the tractor, and
remove the key from the ignition.
Make sure that you have relieved the
pressure from the tractor's hydraulic
system
to make it easier to
disconnect the couplings and connect
them next time.
1. Immobilize the machine in a stable location.
2. Place the wrapper on the ground.
3. Disconnect the hydraulic couplings from the tractor.
4. Remove the safety attachments from the three
hydraulic arms to release the wrapper from its hitch
points.
5. Remove the hydraulic arms from the wrapper and
put the safety attachments back on.
6. Store the bale counter in a dry place.
