4 Wrapping bales
This section describes the method that Anderson Group
recommends for wrapping bales. The steps are as follows:
1. Adjust the wrapper
2. Place and wrap the first bale
3. Unload the bale
4. Place and wrap the subsequent bales
This section also describes what to do once you have
finished wrapping.
4.1 Adjustments
Before wrapping a bale, you will need to adjust:
l
The position of the support rollers (see "Adjusting
the support rollers" on page 22)
l
The position of the support belts (see "Adjusting the
support belts" on page 23)
l
The number of film rotations on each bale (see
"Programming the number of rotations per bale" on
page 21)
NOTE:
See "Common adjustments"
on page 22 to learn how to
make these adjustments.
4.2 Wrapping the first bale
1. Place a bale in the middle of the drive rollers, from
the opposite side of the stretcher if possible.
The bale will turn counterclockwise.
2. Attach the plastic film near the plastic cutter (Figure
18).

3. Actuate the hydraulic lever on your tractor to turn
the rotating table.
When the maximum number of rotations per bale
that you configured has almost been reached, the
bale counter screen will blink and three beeps will
sound (for how to program the bale counter, see
"Programming — Advanced menu" on page 21).
The
wrapper
does
not
automatically stop when the
required number of rotations is
reached.
4. Stop wrapping when the table is correctly aligned,
with the centerline of the bale parallel to the tractor
axle, and the plastic cutter blade facing the
direction of unloading (Figure 19).

Unloading
5. On the bale counter, the total bales per day
increases by 1, and after 15 seconds, the number of
rotations per bale resets to 0.
