9 Changing the tunnel
Your bagger can be equipped with 5 ft (1.5 m) or 6.5 ft (2 m) tunnels for use with different bag
formats. Your bagger is delivered with the tunnel of your choice, but you can order an optional
second.
To replace your bagger tunnel by another smaller or larger tunnel, do the following:
1. Remove the chains attaching the plate to the lateral extensions of the bagger.
2. Lower the plate.
3. Remove the bolts that attach the tunnel to the bagger (on the lateral extensions and around
the compression screw) and remove the tunnel.
4. Remove the plate by removing the pins that hold it in place.
Be sure to not damage the tunnel. Any notch
on its surface could tear the plastic bag during
the bagging.
5. Remove the bolts keeping the lateral extensions in place.
6. Slide the lateral extensions towards the inside or outside to adjust their width to that of the
tunnel to be installed (see Figure 55 – Lateral extension adjustment).
