3. If the necessary force does not match the values indicated inTable 3 – Force Necessary to
Obtain a 10 mm Displacement, loosen the nut (B) (see Figure 49 – Belt adjustment).

4. With the nut (C), adjust the length of the spring (D) at around 120 mm (4.75 in).
5. Reverify the tension and adjust the spring if needed.
6. Retighten the nut (B).
NOTE: You can obtain a 30 lb pen type tension tester at any
mechanical parts distributor or at your local Anderson
retailer (# 322167).
