Grain bagger GB-series – Operation Guide

5.5 Balancing

Vibrations from the machine can weaken the structure and create cracks or breaks in the material.

When unusual vibrations occur, make sure the crushing rollers and the compression screw are in
good condition. If all the grooves are in good condition, it is possible that the crushing rollers are
unbalanced.

The balancing of the crushing rollers (at 1000
RPM) and of the compression screw (at 540
RPM) must be performed by a certified repair
shop.

5.6 Welding work

Before performing welding work on the machine:

l

Disconnect the battery from the tractor if it's attached to the bagger.

l

Always install the grounding terminal of the welding machine near the welding location.

l

Make sure to never pass current through a ball bearing, a bush bearing or a wheel hub.

5.7 Cleaning

After each day of use or at the end of the entire job, you must clean the machine to remove
accumulated residue. Daily cleaning ensures that mobile components remain functionnal and can
move freely.

The accumulated residue in the machine can
compromise

the

effectiveness

and

the

lifespan of the machine if it is not regularly
cleaned.

Any cleaning must be performed by qualified
personnel.

Before performing any cleaning, make sure
the tractor is stopped and the ignition key
removed.
