the hopper. The operator must make sure the hopper empties itself at the same rate at which it fills
itself. The operator must also adapt the grain flow to the crushing speed of the rollers. Two
portholes on the hopper wall allow to see the level of grains inside. Anderson Group recommends
maintaining the grain level between the first and the second porthole.

If the hopper does not empty itself fast enough, increase the opening of the trap by doing the
following:
1. Loosen the screw (A) that keeps the handle (B) in place.
2. Pull on the handle (B) until the opening of the trap (C) is the desired size.
3. Tighten the screw (A) in place to prevent the trap from opening or closing more during oper-
ation.
If the hopper empties itself too fast, reduce the opening of the trap by doing the following:
1. Loosen the screw (A) that keeps the handle (B) in place.
2. Push on the handle (B) until the opening of the hopper (C) is the desired size.
3. Tighten the screw (A) in place to prevent the trap from opening or closing more during oper-
ation.
