DESCRIPTION
This pump must be use for engine cooling only.
It is perfectly self-priming.
Use with salt or fresh water only.
Pump does not run dry.
Attention : these instructions are addressed to specialized technicians, prepared to correct use of manual and motorized
utensils and of all security precautions (eyes protection including). Before to use product, insure to read carefully this
instruction guide. For any work on the pump we recommend the use of protective gloves. Disposal of obsolete product must
be in accordance with the rules and regulations applied in te Country of destination. Product guarantee: 1 year.

INSTRUCTION USER GUIDE
After made pump installation in according with Par. “Installation”, connect pipe to
inlet connections.
The section of both suction and delivery pipes must respect the pump inlet original
sections.
Dip pipe into liquid and then turn on pump.
After 15 seconds about, pump starts to deliver liquid.
WARNING
• Do not use Ancor pumps for petrol, gasoline, petroleum products or any product with flash point
below 37°C (98°F)
• Keep product away from children
• Verify that pump is locked strongly before use
• Use pump for described applications only
• Do not vacuum solid part with pump
MAINTENANCE
We suggest regularly maintenance of cooling circuit in order to avoid damages caused by
overheat.
It’s also important to preserve cooling circuit during outhousing period to avoid damages
caused by cold and corrosion.
N.B.
It’s better to have maintenance adrift, else can be enter water onboard.
Pump does not run dry.
In case of water filter is mounted on, verify that it is clear and integral.
Impeller:
The impeller is very important to safety.
It’s necessary to replace it every 500 operating hours at least.
A damaged impeller must be replaced IMMEDIATELY.
We suggest to keep a new impeller with gasket onboard always.
MALFUNCTIONING
• Pump does not start: check if pump connection with engine is correct
• Pump does not vacuum: check liquid level and position of pipe into liquid
• Pump does not much vacuum:
- Check if impeller is damaged or if there are residual inside or if impeller is
unsticked from its insert.
- Check if there are air leakages inside circuit. In order to verify this, check if
outflow from pump has lacteal form, caused by nebulised air inside circuit.
- Verify that inside seal below impeller , is integral and soundness.
