If you plan to expand the EZ-USB Development Board by using the
prototype board, it is important to know which 8051 signals are
used by the main board to avoid signal conflicts. These signals are
RD#, WR#, RXD1 and TXD1. The RD# and WR# signals are hard-
wired to the memory decode PAL. For proper operation of the 8051
monitor, the RD# and WR# signals must be active. Never change
the PORTCCFG bits 7-6 or 1-0 from “1” to insure proper operation
of the debug monitor.
