Appendix D - Upgrade Processes

Upgrading the Vision

Software

Periodic upgrades will occasionally be available for the Vision

interface. Upgrades are available by contacting AMX Tech Support at

800-932-6993.

NOTE: Before upgrading, it is recommended that you make a copy of the server for backup purposes. Refer to Backup Procedure on

page 79.
NOTE: Upgrade installations must be performed using the built-in Vision2 “administrator” account.

Post Upgrade

Perform the following steps after upgrading your Vision2 system:

Change Recycling Conditions Settings

Open Start > Administrative Tools > IIS Manager and select Application pools.

Right click V2AppPool and select "Recycling" (FIG. 113).

Uncheck "Regular time intervals (in minutes).

Check "Specific Times" and enter 3:00 AM.

Click the next button.

Click the Finish button.

Change Disable Overlapped Recycle Settings

Right the V2AppPool again.

Select "Advanced Settings".
