Model PLL-SD10 Smart Dimmer
Description
The PLL-SD10 is a solid state, microprocessor-controlled
dimmer. Before the network is applied, the PLL-SD10 can control
the load with a default feature set.
If the button is pressed and released, the PLL-SD10 will
automatically ramp to its full on or off state. If the button receives
another push and release before the final state has been reached,
the PLL-SD10 will halt at that point in the load curve.
When the button is pressed and held, the PLL-SD10 will begin to
ramp slowly to its full on or off state. When released, it will halt at
that point in the load curve.
By default, the LED on the button of the PLL-SD10 is off when
the load is off, and is on when the load is on.
When the PLL-SD10 is connected to the PHASTLink network, the
following features are available for programming:
•
LED Brightness and On/Off State
•
Ramp Rate Adjust
•
Network-Controlled Lighting Scenes
•
Maximum On Level
•
Push and Hold Delay
•
Detachable Button (push/hold/release)

Installation
WARNING! DANGEROUS VOLTAGE!
To reduce the risk of serious injury or death, turn all power off before installing this equipment.
WARNING!
PHAST lighting products generate heat. They should only be installed in room-temperature
(approx. 77°F, 25°C) indoor environments. Installing these products in attics, closets, or other
confined areas with inadequate ventilation or heat dissipation ability has the potential to cause
overheating and a possible fire hazard, and will void the warranty.
1. Connect the black (hot) wire to the line voltage (see Figures 2 and 3).
2. Connect the white (common) wire to neutral.
3. Connect the red wire to the load (incandescent lights, up to 600 watts).
