DITCH
DITCH can make ditch paths or it can actually create a ditch after a design has been made using
outside software. Use DITCH when you want to create shallow ditches in order to properly
maintain the correct amount of waterflow on a job site.

Creating A Ditch Plan
In order to use DITCH in the best way possible, it needs to be configured properly and use the
correct settings.
When you have decided you have decided you want to create a ditch or a set of ditches, you
will also have to decide if you want to create the plan in the same folder of the job you are
currently working on (if you are working on one) or if you want to create a new project
specifically for the new ditch plan which would require you to make a new folder and name the
job (see earlier in this guide).
The ditch will then have the extension (.dgn) which will be saved on the tablet, and can be
opened at any time with the DITCH software. Also, you will be able to send any (.dgn) to any
DITCH software on any tablet, via a file sending source, and you will be able to load it.

the imported design. Ditch designing means the software takes a very accurate survey of the
