Current feedback goes from AO1 of the drive to the PLC Analog input-1 should be
adjusted so that Torque current detected by the PLC & drive becomes same.
-
Basic:
- Drive will give the analog output1 as 0 to 5 v for 0 to rated motor current. For
e.g. motor rated current is 87 A for 45 KW. So at 87 A, drive will give 5 V analog output
from AO1 terminal.
-
Now, PLC will accept this 0 to 5 V in the analog input. PLC will read this 0 to 5 V as a 0 to
512 count.
So, if current is 43 A then Drive will give 2.5 V & PLC will read 255 count.
PLC current = analog input count x Motor rated current / 512 (para-23)
43 = 255 x 87 / 512

To check the torque current of the drive See the parameter no. D02-5 from the keypad.
-
Now open the System Menu screen from the HMI & go inside the SYSTEM menu. See
the parameter no. 22, 23, 24. Parameter 24 shows the current, which should be equal to
drive Torque current in D02-5. Enter the value 512 in parameter 23. Now run the drive &
see the current. If the current is different than the parameter 24 then adjust drive
parameter C14-0 & C14 – 3 by increasing / decreasing the value & check the current is
approximate same or not.
