Fan speed

The lowest and the medium speeds are used in normal conditions and when the amount

of vapors is small. The highest speed should be used only when the amount of kitchen
vapors is high, e.g. when frying or grilling dishes.

Safe operation

The safety instructions provided in this manual must absolutely be observed!

The fat filter and the active carbon filter should be changed in accordance with the manu

-

facturer’s recommendation or more often in case of intensive use (more than four hours a

day).  When the gas oven is being used, an flame must not be left uncovered. When taking

pots off of the gas burners, the minimum height of the flame should be set. It is always

necessary to check if the flame extends beyond the pot because this causes unnecessary

energy loss and a dangerous concentration of heat.

The ventilation hood should not be used for purposes other than those that it is designed

for.

Connecting the hood to power supply network and controlling its operation

After connecting the hood to the electric network (in accordance with the previously de-

fined requirements), it is necessary to check if the light of the ventilation hood works and if

the motor works properly. After installing the hood, the electric outlet should be accessible

so that it is possible to unplug the ventilation hood.
