DANGER!
Risk of injury through a wheelchair rolling backwards out of
control.
The floor section and the ramp form a slope via which the
wheelchair can roll down out of control. The passenger in
the wheelchair can be severely injured. Material damage
can be caused.
Therefore:
Stand behind the wheelchair to prevent it from rolling
backwards.
Only then operate the rocker switch such that the indica-
tor lamp in the rocker switch lights up.
Ö
Operate the rocker switch such that the indicator lamp in
the rocker switch lights up (see Figure 6, page 20).
Ö
Accompany the passenger out of the vehicle.
Ö
Detach the electrically operated belts from the wheel-
chair.
Ö
Allow the electrically operated belts to retract until such
time as they can be clipped into the belt locks on both
sides.
Ö
Clip the belts into the belt locks on both sides (see Figure
14, page 29).
Ö
Operate the rocker switch such that the indicator lamp in
the rocker switch goes out.
Ö
Fold the access ramp back up to the vertical position,
until it audibly engages (see Figure 17, page 32).
Ö
Close the rear doors / tailgate.
With a one-piece ramp:
The lowering rear suspension automatically raises the vehi-
cle.
