USB Serial Port

If a USB serial port adapter is used, the PC

’s hubs should be set to not power down. If

the PC shuts down a hub, then all connected USB devices get shut down too.

As an administrator, open Windows

“Device Manager”. Click the Windows key and type

“dev”. Select “Device Manager” from the search list.
