A.8 ERGONOMIC HAZARDS
A.8.1 MANUAL OPERATIONS
WARNINGS
- Do not place the body under excessive strain when operating the crane. If manual operations are
required (e.g. pivoting stabilizer legs, lifting manual extensions or other components) or the load
must be moved by hand, do NOT lift a weight of more than 25 kg (20 kg for women).
A.8.2 VISIBILITY
WARNINGS
- When using the crane the operator shall have a perfect view of the working zone, of the controls
and of emergency and safety devices of machine.
- An additional lighting system conforming to EN 1837 must be installed if the crane is used at night.
- A qualified assistant must help the operator if the latter does not have a clear view of the entire
working range of machine.
A.8.3 HUMAN ERROR
WARNINGS
- Users must be able to read and understand the crane's documents and manuals.
- Users must be able to apply the prescriptions given in this manual.
- Users must receive adequate training (in accordance with ISO 9926-1) from the installer before
the crane is put into service. Use by other personnel is forbidden.
- People using the vehicle on public roads must have the relevant authorisation and be aware of
local driving legislation.
- Users and assistants must not be temporary staff. They must be at least 18 years old and able to
perform all tasks. In addition, the following aspects must be taken into consideration:

physical: sight and hearing; no fear of heights; not under the effects of alcohol, drugs or
prescription medicines;

psychological: conduct in stressful situations; mental balance; sense of responsibility.
