NR60E2 Memory Layout
All NR60E2 encoders use four 16-bit input registers and nine 16-bit output registers. Figure R4.1 shows how
these registers are mapped to the Modbus data reference. Input registers should only be read. Output registers
can be read to determine the present settings of the NR60E2 and written to program the unit. The complete
specification for the Modbus protocol can be downloaded at http://www.modbus.org/specs.php.
