Connectors on the Back of the Modem
This list of connectors describes where to connect the cables and power adapter when installing the
cable modem.
Port Description
POWER The POWER port is where you will connect the
included power adapter. Remember to use only
the power adapter that came with the modem.
TEL1/2 The TEL1/2 port is where you will connect your

and/or 2

telephone line.
TEL2 The TEL 2 port is where you will connect your
2
nd
telephone line.
ETHERNET The ETHERNET port is where you will connect
networked devices, such as a PC or a hub.
USB The USB port is where you will plug the USB
cable. The other end connects to the USB port on
the PC.
CABLE The Cable connector is where you will connect
the coaxial cable (not included) that leads to the
cable splitter (not included) or the cable wall
outlet.
RESET The button is used to reset the modem.
