20.6 Replacing Batteries
20.7 Replacing Fuse
1.
Disconnect power supply to the fireplace.
2.
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing.
3.
Remove the fireplace surround.
4.
Slide the control board forward*.
5.
Remove the battery holder from the velcro strap on the
control board.
6.
Replace the batteries.
7.
Secure the battery holder in the velcro strap on the control
board.
8.
Slide the control board forward*.
9.
Replace the surround and resupply power.
10.
Light the fireplace to verify proper operation.
Battery Specifications:
4 x AA Batteries
1.
Disconnect power supply (including battery backup) to the
fireplace.
2.
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing.
3.
Remove the fireplace surround.
4.
Slide the control board forward.
5.
Remove the fuse holder from the control board (use needle
nose pliers if necessary).
6.
Replace the fuse with one which has the same specifications
using the existing fuse holder.
7.
Slide the control board back in place ensuring the wires are
not pinched. Wires should be neat and tidy.
8.
Replace surround and resupply power.
9.
Light the fireplace to verify proper operation.
