6 Commissioning
This section contains information
on operating your machine for the first time.
on checking how you may connect the machine to your tractor.
Before operating the machine for the first time the operator must
have read and understood the operating manual.
Follow the instructions given in the section "Safety instructions
for the operator" on page 24 onwards when
connecting and disconnecting the machine,
transporting the machine and
using the machine
Only couple and transport the machine to/with a tractor which is
suitable for the task.
Tractor and machine must satisfy the national road traffic regula-
tions!
Vehicle owner and vehicle operator are responsible for compli-
ance with the statutory provisions of the national road traffic reg-
ulations!
WARNING
Risk of contusions, cutting, catching, drawing in and knocks in
the area of hydraulically or electrically actuated components.
Do not block the operator controls on the tractor which are used for
hydraulic and electrical movements of components, e.g. folding,
swivelling and pushing movements. The movement must stop auto-
matically when you release the appropriate control. This does not
apply to equipment movements that:
are continuous or
are automatically locked or
necessarily require an open centre or pressure position to oper-
ate correctly
