Changing a calibration sleeve

The blank holder for rotational milling is designed 
such that the calibration sleeve can be replaced 
and exchanged.

To remove the calibration sleeve [3] from the 
tool holder [1], loosen and completely unscrew 
both screws [4] using the size 3 Allen key.

▷

Pull off the calibration sleeve [3].

▷

Insert a new calibration sleeve with the 
uncoated side onto the tool holder.

▷

Screw the calibration sleeve firmly to the tool 
holder.

Spare and Wear Parts

Exchanging the calibration sleeve is only 
necessary in case of an error in the cali-
bration process. When exchanging the cal-
ibration sleeve, it is required to carry out 
the calibration process once more.

Both the calibration sleeve [3] as well as 
the tool holder [1] have a total of four 
holes.

▷

Screw the calibration sleeve to the tool 
holder only via the horizontal holes [2]. 
The vertical holes of the tool holder are 
used to affix the blank holder (see 
chapter 2.4.5 on page 17).

The screws of the calibration sleeve are 
shorter than those for the blank holder.

▷

Do not switch the screws or get them 
mixed up.
