Config File Management

The configuration file contains all the settings that customize the operation of the AP. You can save 

and restore the configuration file manually, automatically, or with a tool like cURL.

Select 

Maintenance > Config file management

Manual Configuration File Management

The following options are available for manual configuration file management.

11.1.1.1

Backup Configuration

The 

Backup configuration 

group box enables you to back up your configuration settings so that 

they can be easily restored in case of failure. You can also use this option if you want to directly edit 

the configuration file.

Before you install new firmware, you should always back up your current configuration. Select 

Backup

 to start the process. You are prompted for the location in which to save the configuration 

file.
