The iPod/iPhone operation screen display during video 
file playback

1

Touch the screen while the iPod/iPhone playback 
screen is displayed.

The iPod/iPhone operation screen is displayed.

•

The operation screen changes to the visual screen in the 
iPod mode for 4 seconds after an operation has been 
performed. To hide the iPod/iPhone operation screen, 
touch [Full screen].

Touch the display panel to display the operation screen 
again.

Playback

1

Press <MENU>.

The AUDIO/VISUAL selection screen is displayed.

Touch [iPod].

The display shows the iPod mode screen.

Touch [

] or [

] to select the desired file.

Returning to the beginning of the current file:

Touch [

].

Fast backward the current file:

Touch and hold [

].

Advance to the beginning of the next file:

Touch [

].

Fast forward the current file:

Touch and hold [

].

To pause playback, touch [

/

].

Touching [

/

] again will resume playback.

•

You can select the iPod mode also by pressing <SOURCE/PWR> 
repeatedly.

•

If a audio file is playing on the iPod/iPhone when it is connected to 
the INE-S900R, it will continue playing after the connection.

•

If a video file is playing on the iPod/iPhone when it is connected to 
the system, it cannot continue playing after the connection. The 
system play back the first song of all music files.

•

When an iPod/iPhone is connected, playback does not start 
automatically.

•

When an iPod/iPhone is connected while the unit is on the iPod 
mode, file playback will be paused.

•

Display mode can be changed by touching [WIDE] when an iPod 
compatible video is connected. For details, refer to “Switching 
Display Modes” (page 71).

 WARNING

It is dangerous for the driver to watch the Video while 
driving the vehicle. The driver may be distracted from 
looking ahead and an accident could occur.

Install the INE-S900R correctly so that the driver 
cannot watch DVD/TV/Video unless the vehicle is 
stopped and the emergency brake is applied. 

If the INE-S900R is not installed correctly, the driver 
will be able to watch the DVD/TV/Video while driving 
the vehicle and may be distracted from looking ahead 
causing an accident. The driver or other people could 
be severely injured.
