USER INSTRUCTION
User instructions give tips for use, or point to potential sources of error which
could lead to a hazard.
User instructions enable optimum, economical, safe, and environmentally friendly
use and handling of the technology.
In its construction and operational behaviour, this product corresponds to the
applicable European directives and supplementary national requirements where
applicable. Its conformity has been proven.
2.4 Warning notices
Danger from electric shocks
Disconnect the cable from the mains socket to prevent electric shocks.
Only after the equipment has been disconnected from the mains is it guaranteed
that there is no
direct
voltage on the components of the equipment.
Ensure that the mains cable is not damaged.
Never operate the equipment if the mains cable is damaged.
Do not remove the lid of the casing under any circumstances.
Have your searchlight repaired and serviced only by specialists qualified and
authorised by Alpha One GmbH.
Improper interference with the equipment can negatively affect the equipment's
electrical safety.
Danger from burns and fire
Every piece of equipment develops heat. However, the degree to which the
equipment heats up is not dangerous.
Because the light is strongly focussed, it is not permitted to illuminate buildings,
flammable objects, people, or living creatures.
However, at some locations the equipment becomes so hot that a cooling-down
period of at least 15 min. must be allowed before touching these parts.
Ensure sufficient and plentiful ventilation to avoid overheating.
It is forbidden to cover the ventilation slits and the light exit point.
Never short out defective fuses; instead always replace them with the fuses
specified by the manufacturer in the technical data.
If a fault occurs, a fuse which has an excessive rating or has been shorted out can
cause a fire.
