Casing
The SADPminiEx housing is a moulded plastic enclosure with a cast aluminium sample
head.
The instrument is provided as standard with a padded anti-static carrying case with
shoulder strap for use in hazardous areas.

Warning
The SADPminiEx is Intrinsically Safe. Therefore, it can be used in hazardous areas.

Ex ia IIC T3 ( Ta = – 20ºC to +50ºC )
It is the responsibility of the user to ascertain the suitability of the SADPminiEx for use in
hazardous areas. Risk assessments should be performed prior to use taking into account
the SADPminiEx certifications, the ‘x’ rating (Light alloy content) of the SADPminiEx, and
the location and the gas being monitored etc.
3.2
Special Conditions of Use -
(denoted by the X after the certificate number)
The apparatus contains light alloy parts and must be protected from impact and friction
when used and transported in hazardous areas. The apparatus must therefore be carried
in the (antistatic) protective carry case supplied when being transported in a hazardous
area.
