Options
This screen allows advanced users to enter or change a number of settings. For normal
operation, there is no need to use this screen or change any settings.

Internet
Respond to Ping
•
If checked, the Router will respond to Ping (ICMP) packets
received from the Internet.
•
If not checked, Ping (ICMP) packets from the Internet will be
ignored. Disabling this option provides a slight increase in
security.
MTU Size
Enter a value between 1 and 1500.
Note:
MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) size should only be
changed if advised to do so by Technical Support.
UPnP
UPnP

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) allows automatic discovery and
configuration of equipment attached to your LAN. UPnP is by
supported Windows ME, XP, or later.
•
If Enabled, this device will be visible via UPnP.
•
If Disabled, this device will not be visible via UPnP.

Period
Enter the desired value, in minutes. The valid range is from 1 to 1440.
Advertisement
Time to Live
Enter the desired value, in hops. The valid range is from 1 to 255.
