Data Delivery
The FE10 is one of several Allied Telesis
100Mbps - 10 port service modules for the
iMAP solution.This flexible choice provides the
Service Provider or Enterprise customer with
the flexibility of copper or fiber Ethernet
solutions.
The Gigabit feed from the iMAP backplane
allows the FE10 to operate completely at
wirespeed. The flexibility of the iMAP
additionally allows for mixing and matching
service modules to meet any topology
configuration.
Individual subscriber port configuring allows the
operator to selectively configure each port for
the type of service required or to default port
configurations to a well known customized
template.
Allied Telesis’ OAM solution allows for full
configuration and monitoring of each FE10
port.The FE10 module provides configuration
tools to:

Control or limit subscriber access
•
Enforce port security rules
•
Limit services to a port
•
Manage QoS across the card
•
Support network double-tagging
•
Control ingress or egress service rates
Whether it is derived voice or HDTV IP Video,
the FX10 will satisfy all bandwidth and mission
critical services with ease.

last mile service delivery.The FE10 line card can
be used with any of the iMAP family of carrier
grade, IP Multiservice Access platforms:

MiniMAP 9100 (1RU, 3 service slots)
Provisioning, management, and diagnostics of
subscriber ports can be accomplished from
either the iMAP command line interface or the
NMS.
Allied Telesis provides a large portfolio of
Ethernet and xDSL transport and access
equipment. In addition, Allied Telesis provides a
complete set of XDSL and FTTx CPE solutions
in the form of Multiservice Gateways, Layer 2/
Layer 3 switches, routers or media converters
to terminate the broadband link.
