How to connect separate audio
1. Connect an audio cable with a 3.5mm mini jack socket connector into the audio of the Base Unit
2. Connect the other side to the meeting room’s sound system.
Sound is not sent out
The ALF-WirelessMedia button will keep capturing and send the audio of the PC / Laptop, since PC / Lap
is successfully mirroring desktop to the main screen.

Please ensure the button is static green and the PC / Laptop is sharing on the screen.
2. Check Setting configuration, to adjust the Volume set in ALF- WirelessMedia setting tab.
PC / Laptop Sound
The default setting on the ALF-WirelessMedia will mute the internal speaker of PC / Laptop and route the audio
to the base unit once the PC / Laptop is successfully mirroring the desktop to the main screen; this is to avoid
the repeated audio.
When pressing the button to stop sharing, the local loudspeaker will return to the previous status, you can
now adjust the volume on your PC / Laptop.
Note: If you want to keep the internal speaker of the PC / Lap active while routing the audio to the base unit,
please click the audio mute icon in the status bar to turn on the internal speaker.
4.6 LAN connection
The Base Unit can be connected to a local network or directly to a PC / laptop. For normal operation, a
LAN connection is not necessary. When needed, it’s suggested to connect the ALF-UC1 to the Internet.

Connect a network cable with an RJ-45 connector into the LAN port of the Base Unit.
2. Connect the other side to LAN.
3. If the LAN Ethernet switcher supports POE (Power over Ethernet), it could power up the ALF-UC1 other
than using the external power adaptor.
The LAN connection can be used for:

Network integration of Base Unit in guest or company network.

Telnet control the Base Unit.

Maintenance purposes.

Over-The-Air -Update (OTA) of firmware of Base unit.
