Oil change

5.8.1

Oil change procedure

The separator should be level and at standstill
when oil is filled or the oil level is checked. The
MIN-line on the sight glass refers to the oil level at
standstill.

1.

Remove the cover and the water tank.
Note that the tank must be lowered past
spindle end (A) before it can be withdrawn
(B).

2.

Place a collecting vessel under the drain
hole.

3.

Pull out (A) the oil filling device and turn it half
a turn (B).

NOTE

Before adding or renewing lubricating oil in
the oil sump, the information concerning
different oil groups, handling of oils, oil
change intervals etc. given in chapter ‘‘8.5
Lubricants” on page 147 must be well known.
