Checking the product and package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage the
product.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the individual parts of the product out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see the chapter “Contents”).
3. Check whether the individual parts of the product exhibit damages. If this is
the case, do not assemble or use the product. Contact the manufacturer via the
service address specified on the warranty card.
Basic cleaning
1. Remove the packaging material and all protective foils.
2. Clean all parts of the product before first use as described in the chapter
“Cleaning and maintenance”.
Selecting suitable base weights (not included)
Base weights
24
are required for the safe use of the product. They are not included
in the contents, but can be purchased separately. Four base weights totalling a
minimum of 120 kg are required. Follow the instructions included with the base
weights to assemble them to the product.
Take note of the below specifications when choosing suitable base weights for the
product:
• When open, the umbrella

covers an area of approximately 3.4 m by 3 m.
• The height of the product is about 2.6 m.
