Removing a Power Supply

Before removing a power supply, make sure that the power switch is in the off ( O ) position. Unplug
the power cord from the AC socket, as well as from the socket on the power supply’s front panel.

If you wish to remove the power cord proceed to Step 3; otherwise proceed to Step 5.

Remove the two screws on the top of retainer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Do not discard these
screws; you will need to reinstall them later.

Remove the top part of the metal retainer and place it in a safe location.

Loosen the four captive screws, located at the four corners of the power supply’s front panel. If neces-
sary, use a flat-blade screwdriver to loosen the screws.
