1375 Watt DC-to-DC Power Supply
In addition to AC power supplies, the OS8800 switch offers DC power support (OS8-PS-1375D). As with
the AC power supplies, DC supplies are installed in the power supply bays located at the bottom-rear of
the chassis. See
for a slot diagram showing the power supply bays.

detected, check for an air-
flow obstruction at the air
intake vent or at the back of
the chassis. If no airflow
obstruction exists, remove or
replace the power supply
immediately. Refer to the
sections below for important
information on replacing
power supplies and power

DC Power Connector Socket.
Anderson Powerpole modular
connector, or equivalent. The
connector socket ships factory-
installed in the power supply’s
front panel. For information on
the DC power connectors,
including notes on connecting
the power cable, refer to
Air Exhaust Vent.
The air
exhaust vent provides cooling
and temperature control for the
power supply. Maintain a front
clearance of at least six inches
to ensure proper airflow.
For additional airflow informa-
tion, refer to
Safety Ground Connector.
A safety ground is provided on
each power supply and is used
to ground the OS8800 chassis.
For information on properly
connecting the safety ground,
refer to
Air Intake Vent.
The air
intake vent provides cooling
and temperature control for the
power supply. Maintain a front
clearance of at least six inches
