Press ON/OFF WHIRLPOOL to start the
hydromassage function, and adjust to the desired
intensity by pressing the “+” or “–” keys.
The CYCLICAL MASSAGE, PULSE MASSAGE
or OZONE functions can be selected at any
time.
The various functions can be adjusted as desired
by pressing the corresponding increase/decrease
keys.
Timer
The tub features a timer which automatically
interrupts the hydromassage function after 30
minutes of operation.
After the
fi
rst hydromassage cycle has ended,
a further cycle can be started by pressing the
AIRPOOL key. However, 30 minutes are more
than suf
fi
cient to enjoy the full bene
fi
t of the
hydromassage and, in addition, excessive
hydromassage sessions may result in a fall
in blood pressure or excessive muscular
relaxation.
After the hydromassage, drain the tub. After
a few minutes, the airpool valves are cleaned
automatically by compressed air, after which
the main switch can be set to OFF. Clean the
tub with a soft cloth.
It is advisable to sit or lie down in a comfortable
position for ten to twenty minutes after a
hydromassage in order to enjoy the fullest
effect.
That
ʼ
s all you need to know. Now all you have to
do is lie back and enjoy the incredible sensations
that only an Albatros tub can give.
Routine maintenance
Cleaning the airpool valves
The airpool valves may become blocked now
and then.
Possible causes:
1) Obstruction of the valve by residual matter.
2) Jamming of the ball inside the valve.
In either case, the problem is easy to solve.
In order to remove the scale and sediment and
thus restore the normal movement of the valve
ball, use the special tool (supplied) to grip the cap
and remove the internal section of the valve.
Wash the valve under running water, and check
that the ball moves freely. Then apply a layer of
soap around the internal valve body and re-insert.
Ensure that the protruding part of the valve body
is inserted into the groove in the seat, and press
gently into position.
The cap is correctly positioned when the two
tabs on the underside of the edge are inserted
into the grooves.

Cleaning the tub
The tub is built using materials which are easy
to clean and inhibit the build-up of bacteria on
the surface.
It is advisable to clean the tub regularly, preferably
using the speci
fi
c products available from our
authorized dealers and Service Centres.
If you prefer to use other products, the following
recommendations should be followed:
1) Always use a soft cloth; never use abrasive
cleaning products (pads etc.).
2) Never use powder detergents. Always use
good-quality liquid detergents which contain
no alcohol or ammonia.
3) Never use acetone, ammonia or products
containing these substances, as these can
seriously damage the tub. Similarly, never
use products containing formic acid or
formaldehyde.
4) Stubborn stains can be removed using
liquid detergent, silver polish or toothpaste
(depending on the type of stain) and rubbing
gently with a soft cloth.
5) To remove scale stains from the surface, use
lemon juice or vinegar (hot if possible) and
rub gently with a soft cloth.
Special maintenance
To keep the surface shine even after years of
use, apply a good-quality spray or wax polish
and rub with a soft cloth.
If the surface of the tub is damaged, or if damaged
components require replacement, it is necessary
to contact a specialized technician.
The manufacturer recommends that users
contact the nearest authorized service centre
for all maintenance operations.
