What not to do

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FUEL
than that rec-
ommended in your manual. Always follow instruc-
tions in the Fuel and Lubrication section of this
manual. Never use gasoline unless it is properly
mixed with 2-cycle engine lubricant. Permanent
damage to engine will result, voiding manufac-
turer’s warranty.

while refuelling or operating
equipment.

and properly installed muffler shield

2 PROPER
OPERATION
The petrol power scythe is intended for private use, i.e.
for use in home and gardening environments. The
operating instructions as supplied by the manufacturer
must be kept and referred to in order to ensure that the
petrol power scythe is properly used and maintained.
The instructions contain valuable information on oper-
ating, maintenance and servicing conditions..
Due to the high risk of bodily injury to the u-
ser, the petrol power scythe must not be used
to carry out the following work: to clean (suck
up) dirt and debris off walkways, or to chop up
tree or hedge clippings. Moreover, the petrol
power scythe may not be used to level out
high areas such as molehills.
For safety reasons, the petrol power scythe may not be
used as a drive unit for other work tools or toolkits of
any kind.
