ADSORBERS

The adsorbers, or beds, are vessels that contain the molecular sieve used to adsorb

(attract) nitrogen from compressed air and allow oxygen to pass through as the

product gas.

4.3

FILTER ASSEMBLY

The filter assembly consists of two filters. The particulate filter, or pre-filter, removes

particulates from the feed air before the air enters the coalescing filter and the

coalescing filter removes condensed water, oil vapor, and other contaminants

from the feed air before the air enters the adsorbers.
